I went to the Monster Mopar weekend this past weekend at Gateway in STL, and there were 2 stock challengers running. One was an r\t with a 5.7 hemi, and the other was the 6.1 SRT version.

R\T 13.97

SRT 12.50

They were both pretty consistant. Im not about to pay $50k for a car that stickers for under 40g, but the R\T's are selling pretty close to sticker.

There arent any v6's around here yet.

The Ford dealership I work for has a used SRT8 challenger w\ 400 mi. Asking $49k. Thats crazy! the guy traded it in for a GT500 we had. Auto tho. They wouldn't let me drive it

Umm what? You can turn it off... or you can pull a fuse to completely disable it. The stability control is an amazing feature that should be standard on any car... and thankfully it will starting 2010 I believe.

Noooo... you should know how to drive and handle your car!

Back before they started handing out drivers licenses to anyone you had to take a real driver's test - not just parallel park in the in the DMV lot between some orange cones.

There is NO F'ing way an SRT will run mid 12s... they are low 13 second cars...

You can buy a new Challenger for $11k over MSRP with a Vortech , exhaust, and a 3 year 36k warranty on the motor. Here is a link:

green? there is no green one there is blue, white, orange and dark graphite gray. i think its just the lights above the car and the bushes that are right on the side of it that make the fender look greenish.

Ah, I see that now It's the gray with a reflection on the fender like you said, I can see the gray on the topside and hood etc now that you mention it...
A green one would be funky though, you don't see many green cars at all anymore
