For about a month i keep hearing a clunk in the front end. Now everything is new. So i say to myself must be the damn Moog Strut bar bushings i put in that everyone warned me about. So i jack up the front everything is as tight as the day i did it. Damn i am stumped as i recently also braced the front. New upper lower arms, struts, tie rods sway bar links etc etc etc
Over the weekend i hear the drivers side wheel bearing starting to make noise. Mind you its 105,000 miles now i changed the passenger side twice. So i jack up the drivers side to change it i hear the clunk. Sounds like it came from the spindle. I replace the bearing throw in new brake pads for good measure change the oil. Let the car down drive it around town over the same bumps and dips that made the noise. Its gone :confused-red::confused-red::confused-red::confused-red::confused-red:
I would have thought that for a bearing to clunk like that there would have been a lot more going on. Wheel shimmy vibration etc. Just thought i would share it with you all. We learn something new everyday. Peace my brothers!
