I'm here thanks to Jeremi (Mad1stGen)!

I just put one of my hoodliners on mine last night (late last night!) with a HUGE 16 inch tall silver Lincoln logo - it came out great! Don't have pics just yet but I should have them this evening.

Thanks for the welcome MindyMark and Roadboss!

Nice looking Mark, and welcome to the club.

Check out photobucket as a good place to host your pics....unless so of the guys on here are looking for more adult material. :)

As a club member, you also get webspace here if you request it.

And I can't wait to see what the hoodliner looks like. I really think I'm going to NEED one.

This is my hoodliner that Gonzo made for me and helped install (woot for being first car).

Hey Jake - thanks, and I'll bet it STILL looks that way and we're coming up on 2 years in mid-October!

Sorry to say though, if anyone wants a CobraStar decal you'll have to hit up Geno and see if he'll sell you a vinyl decal for it. The design is his, Jake got permission from him to do a "one-off" and was the only one that was available.
I can do an individual Cobra snake or a Lincoln star, but not both together.

And yes, aside from my '97 Thunderbird being the first, Jake's '98 LSC was THE first one!

One of the guys who bought a liner from me for his Mustang GT said it almost feels like a wetsuit the way it hugs the framing underneath, yet it weighs just about 2 pounds.

Welcome Gonzo, and I love your shiny new car and the sharp headliner!

I'm still hoping for a Michigan meet before the bad weather hits this year . . . would be nice to see you there

Thanks shospeed and Rene! Whenever you're ready!

What logo would go good? I just have the plain Lincoln logo/star on it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll take some pics to post up - just haven't had the time!

Some pics I took yesterday evening

Some pics I took yesterday evening

The sun was due west and low so I thought it might be a good chance for some quick pics. The liner is black but the sunlight makes it look a little lighter.

The liner is attached by the 3M #80 spray adhesive, and the hood must be removed for installation. This hood is very light and cleans up well underneath with spray degreaser - I used citrus orange "Zep" from the Home Depot. I cleaned and re-used the mounting pins and you can see how they sink in flush. The pins really aren't needed but I punch the holes to aid in alignment as the installation proceeds. I won't be punching the hole in the dead-center as I discovered that one isn't needed and the decal I used rides over it. The silver Lincoln decal is heat-resistant and is 16 inches tall.

Remember that the liner is a totally different chemical formulation than the stock pressed-fiberglass, and far outperforms it. If it ever gets dirty, which it won't, it can be wiped down with a terry cloth moistened with water, Windex, or any spray cleaner. My liner won't soak up any underhood fluids and resists mold/mildew, etc. It weighs just about 2 pounds and is the same shape as the stock liner. It comes shipped rolled in a tall box, with full instructions for both liner and decal. I'm out of decals right now, but I can get the Lincoln logo as you can see in silver, red, blue, green, white, orange, yellow.

Ya, that sign is thanks to Jeremi too!

I thought about trunk liners too, but I dunno about removing the trunk lid, lots more to it than the hood!
