The Lincolns of distincion car club split from that site over a year ago, due to a hostile takeover from that sites current leader.

I was on that site since sept 99 until this takeover occured. After 3000 posts of mostly pure helpful knowledge I, like many others here, was banned.

This is the true LOD club site, not that one.

The webmaster of that site even banned the LOD pres. and officers from the site and took it over. Someday I'm sure we will get it back again.

NeilW, I am sure you had a good time revising the history.

The poster is entitled to an explanation. A drier, less emotional account of the events may have been more appropriate.

I thought so. I remember a few years back posting on the LOD site, but it was different; there were a lot more posts in the archives and such. I was out of the country for a few years and when I came back I couldn't find some previous threads. Now I understand, thanks guys. Sorry to bring up any past conflicts, it wasn't my intention.

A hearty "Thank You Very Much" to those of you that have tried to answer that question without putting someone else down! The divorce rate grows every year, but that doesnt mean there are more and more "bad" people. I visit both boards with equal frequency and enjoy input from all of you. Thanks for your participation.
