Decided to finally do a J-Mod and install a temp sensor in my LPW pan.
After looking for it a bit, I did some research and found that '98 4R70W's don't have the screen (1st pic) that the earlier transmissions had.
Discovered that the lower 1/2 spring was broken in half (2nd pic), which probably accounts for the rather harsh low speed 1/2 shifts the car has had since I got it.
Retune later, as it was raining here today.
