Hi everyone. I'm Scott, live in Washington state. Fell in love with the Gen 2 Marks when I drove a 98 LSC back in 2000/2001 that belonged to a friend.
Swore if I ever got the chance that someday I'd own one.
Finally found a 97 LSC in Feb of this year and purchased it.
On a personal note, I have a passion working with design software, specifically SolidWorks, and currently intrigued with 3-D printers and what they can do for supplying the diminishing interior parts we all are always searching for.
Saving my pennies to buy one, but $2800 ain't cheap!!!
The top end ones I've seen can hit 15-20k. OUCH!!!
Mechanically I've worked on everything from chainsaws/lawnmowers to 3 phase generators to helping rebuild a 55 Kenworth Log truck and everything in between.
Not saying I'm an expert with any of them. Far from it, just been alive longer than a lot of the guys on the Mark 8 forums I think (could be wrong).
There is a ton of invaluable info in these forums on LOD and LVC and I'm glad I joined. There are truly some real sharp guys out there.
I joined LVC a while back and have talked to several guys there and all are great guys and I expect this is what I'll find here also.
I'll be posting Photos of my 97 as soon as I get it detailed a little more & we get some decent weather.
