Hello everybody,

My name is Jur de Jong, and I live in the Netherlands with my wife, doughter and 2 dogs.

One of my hobbies is US Cars, Lincoln in particular. At this time I own a mint example of a 1997 Town Car Jack Nicklaus. Last june I imported from Florida http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110747 .

In 2006 I was one of the founders of the Lincoln Club Nederland (LCN), and I was Chairman of the LCN until recently. At this moment I am in the process of starting a LCOC Region in the Nethetlands http://www.thelincolnforum.net/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=26861 .

Beautiful Town Car! Is that the edition that was roumored to have a 4 Cam 4 valve 4.6L engine?

My 1997 Town Car is a Jack Nickllaus Special Edition, one of the factory SE's. See http://www.carshow-photos.com/linco...nature_Edtiion_Lincoln_Town_Car_Equipment.htm .
It has the regular 4,6 V8 with 210 HP. This is my current Lincoln.

The Mark IV was a 1975 built 1976 model Gold-Cream Luxury Group. You will find details here http://automotivemileposts.com/mark41976selections.shtml

The tax authorities love my cars. Road tax goes by weight here. The heavier the car, the more tax. I pay EUR 270 per 3 months for my Town Car. Cars older than 25 years are Roadtax-free.

Ambassador in the NL for Lincolns of Distinction: I 'd be honored. Can that be made visible in the title of my posts? :D

I just made a payment of $ 30 via PayPal for LOD-membership. I would like to have the application-form (which is now a PDF-file) as a MS-Word document. Since I do everything electronically, it is much simpler for me to send the form via email than to print, write, wrap, drive, buy stamps and drop. Please mail the form to jur.dejong@hetnet.nl . Could you give me an emailaddress where to mail the filled in form to? Thank you in advance.

I apologize for the inconvenience with the application process. It is currently under repair.

I understand your disdain for snail mail. I will see if I can find or make an MS Word version of the application.

You could simply email the particulars of the application to our membership secretary. You can reach him at jjheep AT uwmail DOT com.

I got your Pay Pal Dues. I'll email you a copy of the application.

The mailing address on Pay Pal is correct I hope. If I send you your club decal and ID card using that address that is in Pay Pal, it will get to you?
 
I will await the form, on which I will also put my address. I see the label LOD Member is already activated. I just filled in my signature and added an avatar.
