About how long does it take for them to do the work? Just need a rough idea so they don't bull**** me with my busy schedule..... Thanks for any input

I have not had the work done yet, but I asked the same question to the person at the dealership. He told me to come in around 11am and it would be done by noon since they that is when they go to lunch.

Mine, took like 20 minutes back in the fall and then an hour when they actually put the part on. Could've been less but I left and came back after an hour like they told me and it was waiting for me.

Mine took about an hour and a half, since I had to go BACK to the dealer and make them actually do the work. They lost a customer that day.

i heard all the do is install a fuse holder inline with the cruse "motor". it is a harness that they plug in with the fuse in it or is it something i can do at home with a fuse holder from discount?

They will give you the parts if you provide your VIN# and return your old part and sign off on it. This is how they get off the hook legally without installing it themselves. We had the parts delivered right to my shop since a couple of us have different fords that were all effected by this. The funny part is the Mark VIII didnt install his part yet so I cant tell yeah where it is or how long it takes. Only took 5 minutes on my Bronco.
