Please, I'm speaking just for myself, I'm too old to learn all of the text messaging abbreviations....
Transmission slipping? Overdrive off? Owner before you regear it?

Can you please describe the problem in more detail... if you're saying the RPMS are climbing and you're not going any faster prepare for a new transmission... the 97 is still a bad design...

Interestingly enough that 98 redesign seems to be great... I have to hear of one failing.

Ok sorry people for that post I was in a hurry. I clean the maf senor and the Throttle body. I took the car to auto zone to see if they could pull any codes from it and there were no codes they could pull from it. This is the problem I am having if I floor the gas pedal sometimes the rpms will go up very fast and feels like a v8 but sometimes they will go up very slow and does not feel like a v8 so that how I stand for now. This weekend I am going to change the fuel filter. Anyone else has any ideas what else it could be thank you guys for all your help.

Here is what the car look like before I bought it but I did some cleaning and now it looks allot better. I will put some new pictures up when I get some time

Yea there is certainly a leak in the front...

All maintenance needs to be up to date...

When were the plugs changed?
When was the transmission fluid changed?
Fuel filter (you mentioned)...

Maybe it is just the traction control that retards the timing to prevent the wheels from slipping...When this loss of power happens do you see a little light in the shape of a wheel just under the tachometer come on? If so then try to lighten your foot a little or go to the driver settings and turn it off to let her rip!
