well i finally got around to replacing the shock mounts in my 94 mark 8 today, had a friend of mine come over and help since im too big to crawl through the trunk or back seat. glad to say the popping and loud thud is no longer an issue, im glad thats not a problem no more. the job went real well, and i got some pics of the job, and some funny pics of my friend in the trunk workin on the shock mount. ill post later. unfortunatly the shocks, struts and air bags are still bad, they still dont take bumps worth a nickel... so thats another job that will hopefully be done real soon. but id like to thank all the guys from here that helped with advice on this problem, i appreciate the help.
Just replaced shock mounts today : )
