K member spacer size

How thick a spacer can be used?
Does it adversely affect drivetrain alignment?
Does it change ride height, or do the sensors compensate?
The coil pack mount on my Vortech blower causes the pack to rub on the hood. StPro warned me of this and sent picts of the mount mods
he done. But I was thinking spacers would move everything down without cutting and welding the aluminum blower mount.
Jeremi and/or Ponyfreak posted picts of the ones they made.
Do you guys recall the dimensions (LxWxH hole size/spacing) of yours?
Thanks,
Mel C.

RE: K member spacer size

As a general rule, i'd say it's not a good idea. But really, lowering the k-member maybe half an inch (MAX) would be okay. You will alter your suspension geometry, the camber will change differently as the suspension moves through it's range, and the change probably won't be for the better. Ride height will stay the same because the sensor is on the upper control arm, camber, caster, and maybe toe will be affected though.

Personally i'd find another place to mount the coil pack, if that's the only problem.
