Hello - new to this website as I just bought a 94 Lincoln continental - so far so good, but I would like to know what kind of oil is recommended for a V-6 engine - thanks, Kay

According to the service manual, LUBRICANT AND MAINTENANCE MATERIALS SPECIFICATIONS, the recommended oil for the 3.8L V6 is MotorCraft 5W30 Super Premium or 10W30 Super Premium. If I recall correctly, the crossover point is 0 degrees F. Above 0 degrees F, use 10W30, below 0 degrees F use 5W30.
