Hey guys, I have a 95 conti and can not locate my keyless entry code. I looked on the hinge in the trunk as well as behind the fuel cut off switch location. Is there somewhere else? I would assume it wouldnt be too much different than the MarkVIII, does anybody know?

RE: Keyless Entry Keypad Code

I have 94 Continental . The keypad code is a five digit numeric code. If the tape with the code has come off the trunk hinge it is printed on the remote control module. This module is a grey plastic box shaped unit dimensions: 8" long by 3" wide by about 2" thick. It is held in place by three screws bolted to the metal frame that supports the back seat. Access is thru the trunk, then remove the carpet piece at the back of the trunk that covers the back seat area. Then look to the left of center at about the 10 o'clock position and you will see the module. It also has the radio antennae plugged into it from the top. You can read the five digit code as printed on the unit as it faces you. Good luck, James

Slightly different model. '94 was the last year of the Taurus/Sable based Continentals. '95 was the first year of the 2nd Gen. FWD Continentals.

Bud's right. The factory code is on a decal on the Driver's Door Module, inside the LF door.
