Kinda surprised...

Stupid question. But will running with the bags off damage the bags at all. I don't know i asked like everyone is just going to damages there bags on purpose. But betteer safe than sorry.

Running at the dragstrip with the air ride off wont hurt the bags.
Unless you have a leak and it bottoms out during the run.

If your air ride functions correctly turning it off for dragstrip duty wont hurt anything.

FWIW: if your air ride doesnt leak you can leave it off for weeks at a time of you want..but I wouldn't suggest letting it STAY off for an extended amount of time...

Reason: the vent valve in the compressor COULD get lazy/corroded or stuck closed or open if it's not cycled on a regular basis.

better to "keep it running" to "keep it in shape".
turning off for an evening at the dragstrip definately "wont hurt"

I found this from a recent track event I couldn't attend...

Even coil suspended cars get killer weight transfer!

the car is lowered via 1-1/2" coil conversion...yet the front still extended to full shock travel. Nothing like you guys whose cars squat(mine didnt hardly squat at all, probably due to the Bilsteins and addco 1-1/4" rear sway bar)...but the front definately unloaded it's weight.
