KYB shocks suck rant!

I just converted my 1996 Mark VIII to coils using vogtland 3/4" springs and kyb shocks. I want to disclose my results to future shock buyers... The kyb front shocks will give you a floaty ride!

Before I started the conversion the air suspension drove real smooth and handled well but would leak down overnight. After the spring conversion It feels a tad firmer which is good but when you hit uneven pavement the front end will start floating up and down and dosen't settle down right away like it used too. I don't blame the springs because it does feel firm, it just feels like the shocks are week. The faster I go the more of a problem it becomes, at times it feels like you're driving a Mark IV, not a Mark VIII!

The rear does feel fine on the other hand. It is sitting up higher then I wanted but hopefully it will settle? I have a SC rear sway bar and I shortened the end links 3/4 inch.

I tried to purchase Tokico front struts from two different suppliers... I waited 5 weeks because they were on back order from the first place then the second place cancelled my order after one week saying they're out of stock. So after six weeks I went ahead and bought kyb's because they were available.

If I choose to change the front shocks again (Uaagh!) and pay the $70 dollars to have the springs compressed again... what is the strongest, gnarliest front shock that are available to purchase right now? Maybe the Tokico's were available and I just wasn't lucky twice?

Thanks for reading my rant and I appreciate any thoughts...
