"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers."

I found an old computer magazine the other day from the spring of 1990. It listed the brand new super hot and fast 486-33's PC with 4 MB of RAM and 500 MB hard drives. It said these systems were so fast that only business would be using them. They were just too much for a home system. Oh....and the price.......between $10,000 and $15,000 apiece . I got one in my attic you can have for $5000 ;).

I have an older one from 1984 attempting to describe the Macintosh which had just been released (128K Ram, 33 mhz., no hard drive.) It had enough trouble describing the concept of the windows but the funniest part was it's description of what a mouse was. It predicted that most people would put it on the floor thinking it was a foot control like a sewing machine.

I think you are a bit optimistic with a 33 MHz CPU in 1984, more like 8 MHz was the norm

It's been on that same car since 1980

No Dean , the traffic is to bad. It takes hours to get home after the race.

RE: License plate mottos

That's unfortunate. A buddy of mine went up to yesterday's race at Texas Motor Speedway and took a camper. He and some friends were going to have a barbeque in the parking lot, spend the night in the camper, and leave this morning back to San Antonio.

I really want to go someday. That has got to be awesome.

He is bringing me a Mark Martin leather jacket when he comes down here again. I can't wait to have some more cold weather so I can walk around with the the big VIAGRA logo on my back!

Gotta go! Lunch time is over!
