Lincoln ad agency needs information

Could anyone here help this gentlemen? Apparently there are plans to launch new Lincoln products. It looks like Lincoln wants to get the details right.

Dear Mr. Sosiak,

My name is Benjamin Fong and as a Product Information Specialist for Lincoln/Mercury's advertising agency, Young & Rubicam Brands, in Dearborn MI, I am currently doing research for the agency and was hoping you or any of your members could tell me if there is some sort of historical list of new Lincoln product launches from the current year and dating back to when Lincoln first began producing vehicles. Ideally, this list should be like a timeline showing the year(s) and what vehicles were introduced/launched in that specific year. Any information you or your members might have would be greatly appreciated.

Alexander... conact Sandy and see if he can supply this info, by the LOD supplying this info it could be a great piece of PR for us with the agancy and with Ford if they acknowledge the source of the info. This is important and should not be overlooked!

I have books on Lincolns, and could get all this information easily. It would take me an hour or two to compile. Unfortunately, with my move, the books are all still in boxes.

I don't trust that guy. I bet he is trying to make calenders to sell at car shows or something.

When Lincoln's Ad agency has to turn to internet chat boards to find readily available information on the product that they are supposed to be professionals at promoting...well...you can see what's been happening to the Lincoln brand for the last few years. 'Nuff said.

Yup, I agree, it sounds like b.s. Ford has all this stuff and they can pull it up in under 10 minutes. Most of the info Sandy got about our cars was from an insider at Ford. If you go to the Ford museum they probably even have a poster on the wall showing the progression of their vehicles. The more you think about it, the less sense it makes. If he knew so little about our cars, how would he know if the information was correct. Would he pass it along to Ford and hope it was right?

I just did a quick search on the internet and found them. After browsing the site for a few minutes I came to the realization that their main business is selling information to others. If you subscribe to their business you can access information about different companies and their products. I got a funny fealing somebody came to their website and asked for this information. Rather than do the work themselves, they went to various lincoln sites to see if they could get somebody else to do the work. In other words, they would be making a profit off of your hard work.

Take a look for yourself. Dont just look at the front page. Look around for a while.
