I got a 98 lsc with 68,000 miles ! I bought it for a grand and it came with 3 good non generic programmed keys ! Previous owner lost keys ! I paid a lock smith to try 2 program the 3 new keys ! The car wouldn't communicate with programmer ! Then when it did it read it read error after time passed for programming ! Replaced the scil module and matching ignition from 97 lsc with key . Installed them tried 2 start car and heard clicking by emergency brake petal . Don't know what the problem could b ! Checked relay they were ok ! Now I'm stumped !
