Last Friday i went to PNP to look for some mark viii parts. To my luck they had a blue mark that no one was allowed to touch until Saturday morning when they opened. I showed up Sat morning 30 min before they opened and waited in line. We were the first ones to the Mark and started going to town. I ended up spending about $80 and this is what i got:
Power Antenna
Fuse panel cover
Set of horns
Driver side mirror
Full Trunk carpet, tire cover and cargo net
Back seat interior lights
Power Steering Res.
Hand full of fuses ;)

We were in and out in 45 min. Not a bad day at the local PNP. The only thing i didnt get that i was after was a full size spare from that car. The mark had good tires on it but all the wheels have wheel locks on them and i didnt want to destroy a socket trying to get them off. Anyone have tips on how to get wheel locks off? Last time i did it, i used a small socket and used a dremmel to remove part of it then used a BFH to smack it into the wheel lock. After about 40 min the socket fit enough to get the wheel lock off but i cant use my dremmel at PNP.

I checked the glove box but not the console. I will look next time i go out there. I doubt anyone else will get the wheels off without it

There must be a "special" socket to remove the nuts/bolts in which the keys have been lost/stolen. My L/M dealer had one that did it...my key stripped and was replacing my tires at the dealer. They had them removed in no time at all and they said they had a "special" socket that enveloped the keyed bolt. They said it ruined the head, but I had already handed them a new sets of locking bolts to install.

Ya me and D went through that mark8 on Sunday. We just broke the chrome stripping off of the side blinker and got 2 seat belt vanity covers (the small plastic ones at the top of the seat belt). They were for his car so I don't really care, but he got charged 8 frigging bucks for nothing. Luckily after some clean up on the surfaces and some clear RTV I was able to get that chrome to hold up on the side.

When his lazy ass signs up. It's at my house right now and I already have pictures of it before it was even washed. He got the car for 300 and I have already after a quick inspection noticed it has poly strut bushings. Like I said though, I won't post somebody elses car up at the moment hehe. There was a huge dent in the passenger door and he pulled the inside panel off, grabbed a roll of duct tape, and pressed it back out to almost a non noticeable dent. You will see it sooner or later.

Hey, are we still on for tomorrow if it doesn't rain? I would like to at least get a time in this year so I can get that to driller.

Yeah, i would like to get a run in this year too. They say it is going to rain but hopefully it wont. If it doesn't i plan on being there around 4-4:30.

Yeah it is raining here in Sac too, so scratch that idea. I will keep an eye on the website to see if it will be open at all in Dec... I doubt it though
