Sweet, looks good! It doesn't match in the close up pictures, but like mine, it seems to match the inner portion of the dash.

I highly recommend a transmission or oil pressure gauge for the other pod.

i did a similar pod in a 93 for a buddy of mine, the pod actually came out of a 2nd gen eclipse. you should try and find a color that matches the portofino blue in a spray can and paint it to match. you could always give the autobody store the trim code and they could mix the portofino blue in a little pint so you could paint it. looks good though but i like them better when they match.

and yes the volt meter says 2 volts, the gauge was bad out of the box, hooked directly to a battery it still was stuck on 2 volts, its since been changed.

looks good... if you ever messed around with fiberglass, it would look really slick if you molded it togather... than colormatch the paint... lota work, i know, but it would defintely set it off once its in the car... they offer gauge pods for the stangs and various other cars that are already painted... i got 1 in my superduty and it looks as if it should've been oem.... mark viii's arent the most popular cars but thats what makes it even more appealing when you fab up stuff yourself...

Those aeroforcetech gauges look cool but I bet there is a TON of wire/sensor running to get them to work, on the other hand, you would only need a couple of gauges. I guess the bad part is when you lose oil pressure, with the gauges automatically switch to the oil pressure or will you have to manually "fish" the gauge to find out what is going on.

OBD2 applications only...

The Interceptor gauge is 52mm (2 1/16") in diameter and will fit in all standard gauge pods of this size. A 5' cable is included with appropriate
OBD2 connector. A splitter cable is included with the dual Interceptor units.

I identified 4 items that I would need to buy sensors for, the rest of the info comes from the OBDll port that you plug into. The gages can be set to scan up to 8 parameters each and you can set limits on each that will fire annunciator lights. The items I thought about using sensor kits for were: Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, Boost, and Trans Temp. (or Intercooler coolant temp.). This is a $700 deal so I am going to have to wait till Spring 09 for this, but wanted to see if anyone else here has gotten this unit or any feed back.

That is cool, sounds like a pretty sweet set-up and very good for use on your S/C car.
