Later this week I'm going to look at a 98 continental with 120,000 miles they said it dies sometimes when stopped at a light but starts back up. What are some common problems to look for when I go to look at it.

Probably the idle air control valve.

I heard the belt and the pulleys are a HUGE PITA on this car.

Alternator tends to fail at that mileage.

Check for the air suspension if it still has it it probably needs repair unless it was replaced.

Transmission problems... Make sure it was serviced with Mercon V, if it was serviced at all.

Check to make sure the driver's side floor is not wet.

Air suspension is only in the rear so problems with that will be few if any.

If you want the factory CD changer, make sure it has one. Adding one later is not an easy option at all.

I guess they do not. My roommates 96 does not. When I was doing some research here I found that from 96 up they only had rear bags. 95 and earlier had it on all four like the Mark.
