for sale locally, a 94 but it is the most cherry mark I have ever seen.

76k miles, but looks even fresher than that
it was origianlly Red but you can't tell, now black. the paint is factory perfect, maybe better! House of Color
he added some wood-grain to the interior
2.5" true dual with X-pipe.
sweet-a$$ corvette tips, with a 96-LSC rear bumper for the cutout
all the trim chrome is blacked out
custom leather interior work, featuring the cobra/lincoln logo
custom 20" wheels, black and chrome
XM radio and an audiobahn trunk unit that looks like battlestar galactica, infiniti speakers
headlights look like new.

you may have seen this thing on ebay recently

he wants just over $9k, maybe that's a bit too high.

2 questions for the board:
1) is 9k too much to pay?
2) should I pay it anyway, this thing is AWESOME?

the only negatives:
-my current 94 has sunroof, I'll miss that
-no traction control, so I'll need a winter driver :)
-it's maybe TOO nice, I'll need to hire someone to stand next to it to make sure no kids get anywhere near it.
-tan interior is not as cool as black interior.

forgot to mention the tranny has 2500 miles on it, transgo electronic shift kit too, and air bags are only 2 yrs old.

This fella attended our last get together in Lincoln, and that is the most attractive Mark I have ever seen. The stripe on the side is absolutely awesome. I dont think there is anything left on the car that is still stock. Very tastfully done.

All I can say from experience is that anyone with a sentimental car like that is usually asking not as much as they put into it, but not as much as you would like to pay. I would personally (without having seen it) around 7.7.-8k if I had the money. Having said that, you never know what the car has been through or if the Job was done right internally.

I am sure some of the older gentlemen and ladies have more info for ya:)

he's selling it because he has a mustang he wants to build. The guys is crazy productive, where does someone find the time to do stuff like this...

what would mine look like for $9k? That's a damn good question. I did pay $2k to have ALL the body rust removed and spray-welded... a lot could be done... I have to think about that.

I secured some finaincing at the bank and close on that later this week, so I have a couple days still to think about it...

J - why the enormous hood on your car? I didn't see anything in the engone pics that seemed to need it.

Is the guy you sold yours to selling it J?

Yep, he's not trying very hard though.

Lol, I WAS gonna put this in it...

Jesse needed the large hood to attract the current wife that he has.

Now that he is married he is rolling in a yellow honda ;)

Naw man, she met me when I was rolling in the stang WITH the big hood, haha.

LMAO!!!

Next he'll be selling the Honda for a minivan.

LMAO! I DO NOT THINK SO! Haha

LMAO you just wait J. Youll have the minivan in a year with some wheels and a big ol hood and a blower stickin out the top!

I've had a little SNAFU at the bank, a 5 year old lien from the Child Supt enforcement office (it's a funny story actually, my ex actualyl OWES ME $37 more than they say I owe her, so we've got to go get that all cleared up) but then I will be getting this car! he dropped the price a bit, too, so I am excited :)

I'm SO attached to my Mark, been driving it for almost 10 years now, but lately I've been thining about all the little things that bother me with it, and it wil be nice to not have to deal with them anymore...

my big challenge now is finding a winter driver car for under $2k. Craigslist here I come...

SO look for my Mark for sale soon...

94 w/ 195k miles
tranny replaced at 160K
2.5" true dual exhaust
4.10 gears and 1-piece drivehsaft
chip dyno-tuned by JW himself
K&N cone filter
replaced all 4 bags, compressor, and relay in 2008
NO body rust at all (spent some $$ this spring on spray-welding it all gone)
Eclipse CD player, "generic" sub in trunk
fresh, clean, clear headlights!
245-50-16 tires for that fat look:wink:

what do you think I could get for it?

I will :)

right after I sit in it for an hour in my driveway playing with XM radio

I'd probably hump this beauty if I wasn't afraid to scratch the paint

My wife calls my car "Your girlfiend" because I spend more money on it than I do on her.

But you have taken it to the next level!! LOL
