loud powersteering pump

In the mornings when I first start the mark the powersteering is "stiff" and the pump is kinda noisey. It has plenty of fluid, and after I wiggle the wheel a little it turns smooth. Anybody else run into this?

Pretty Normal. Especially in colder weather with carssthat have some miles under their belt.

My 93 with 108k does the exact same thing. Did it today when I moved it. Its for sale too.

thanx Geno, mine only has 61xxx on it, I guess I will try some additives

You may want to flush the system with fresh fluid first.
