love my car , but....

Take it out and run the crap out of it....hopefully it will throw a code!
Funny you should say that, i got on a country road an ran it up to about 100 mph, the other day.. Maybe i stop by autozone and have them check the codes for me.. I'd have my uncle do it, but hes on vacation.. I'll keep you posted !

Did it hesitate any more/differently than it did before that run? I don't recommend doing 100mph, but some pedal to the metal runs to the speed limit should also do it......LOL

good news !!

good news !!

I have codes .. PO303 cylinder 3 misfire.. the guy at the auto part store said, it's my coil Ignition. That pretty much sums it up for what he knew..

I believe he was correct....It's Cylinder # 3 Misfire. THAT'S the coil / boot you should replace. It's the 3rd plug back from the front on the passenger side.

Thank you Bud, I sure hope this takes care of my problem.. I'll let you know what happens.. Kinda thinking it doesn't cost to much, or else you would have said so lol

I don't know how they are on the LS, but you may just need the rubber boot part and not the coil. The rubber boot is not that expensive.

You are welcome.... if it's just a boot, leas than $10,00. If a coil, less than $70.00 I believe.....If you DIY......Whatever, it shouldn't be more than 100.

Well my car is all fixed ( cross your fingers it stays that way) this took care of my problem ! I replaced the coil that was coming up on my codes, also I replaced the fuel fliter.. cost me $200.00 with labor an all.. Now my question is, if one coil went bad, is there a good chance the rest are going to go bad soon as well ?

thanks to everyone here who has been so helpful to me !!

p.s very tired, hope this makes sence lol

Not necessarily....... I had three go out over a year span after I first bought the car, so I stocked up on the coils and nary a one since!!!! Figures, right?

Not sure you need the gumout. Not a big fan of most additives in these modern times with flue injection. Gas is regulated to have detergent now in all grades as well.

The only fuel additive i use once in a while is Chevron, Techron
