anyone know proper torque for lug nuts
sleeper Former LOD President Jun 28, 2004 #2 RE: lug nuts i believe it's 90-110 ft.lbs. i usually go 110-120. the important thing is to make sure they're all the same and none are drastically over torqued (or loose, for that matter)

L logres Registered Jul 28, 2004 #5 RE: lug nuts Worst comes to worse, you could estimate the torque without a torque wrench. 100 ft*lbs is equivalent to putting 100 lbs of force 12 inches away from the lug, or 66 lbs 18 inches away, or 50 lbs 24 inches away.
