Manual airbag inflation/suspension conversion

does anyone know of a way I can manually inflate the air suspension so I can drive the car while I'm waiting to install the coil over conversion?

Also I haven't been able to find a lot of information on peoples experiences with the various kits out there. I'm just wondering which one is the best, I don't want to keep messing with the air suspension but I don't want to replace it with junk. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I ordered the kit from American Air Suspension, Hoping to have it here and installed by the end of next week. I just need to figure out if there is a way I can pump up the front while I'm waiting for the kit. If anyone knows of a way let me know.

Have you tried to jack up the front just a little and turning on the key to the ON position, NOT START! If that didn't work, jack up a LITTLE more and try again.

no, I haven't tried that. I think the compressor is dead, but I suppose its worth a try. As soon as I get it back I'll give it a try - it's in the shop right now, broke a valve spring. I don't know how common that is but I can tell you its fairly expensive to get them to replace the $20 spring.

OK... I'm in the middle of doing the coil conversion, and I cannot seem to get the bolt on the lower control arm to move AT ALL. I've sprayed a bit of deep creep in there and beat on it. No luck. Is there some trick I'm missing?

It is going to take a big lever to get the nut off, and then a big hammer on the nut face to get the bolt to move (leave the nut on to protect the threads to get it started moving).

For a lever I use a floor jack on the wrench pushing against the weight of the car. Oh and don't be stingy and really soak the bolts with the Deep Creep.

I got both of the lower control arm nuts off no problem, it was the bolt that absolutely wouldn't give. took half a day and a sawzall, took the ears off the air strut, but it did come out. PITA... I have it back together though. Sits higher than I ever remember, so I'm hoping it settles some.
