Hey I went through there but I was going North toward KC... away from OK. - I was heading toward OK on the 3rd though.
Anyway, I didn't wave.. I didn't see you wave. Why didn't you WAVE?!
I was in a dark green VIII heading North at around 5-6p?

At 6pm on the 3rd we were still stuck in the jam on I-35 south of OKC... didn't make it to Clear Lake, IA until 4:45am... UGH!!! 12.5 hours for 883 miles with 4 stops, not including the jam off the George Bush here in Dallas and then the pre-OKC jam (total of 1.5 hours stopped), not too darn bad tho. Average of 80.2 mph. The way back to Dallas sure sucked tho - headwind the WHOLE WAY, 22 MPG.
And I must say - my el-cheapo Cobra 6060 (which coincidentally cost $60) worked great! Paid for itself three times over.

I rolled that route that day, but was leaving KS about 6 or so in my 1993. Made it to DFW in my usual 5.5 hrs or so. I need to get a radar detector for Oklahoma too. I didn't see any cops in the daylight but when the sun goes down I think they come out.
