Sadly, my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII was sideswiped, sliced and diced, and totaled by a NV Energy truck, in October. The good news is, somehow I was not injured at all in the accident. The bad news was there were no suitable Mark VIII's in southern Nevada to serve as a replacement so I ended up with a silver 2001 Town Car Cartier.
The driver of the utility company truck was ticketed at the scene. He didn't see my car in his blind spot, which is in front of his rear view mirror. The driver changed lanes not realizing I was in the lane to the right of his truck. The accident put my car in basically a PIT maneuver and ended up in front of the truck.
