Mark8 to an LS

I had to unload my 98 Mark because it just kept costing me too much in repairs. I loved the car and it hurt me to part with it. I recently traded it in on a 2005 V8 LS that I got a couple of months ago. The LS is an amazingly rapid car (faster than the Mark) and very nimble and an easy car to drive. However, it still doesn't turn heads like the Mark8. There some things I miss like the side mirrors that turned down when you put it in reverse, the better visibility and the interior display and dash that was very impressive. Nevertheless, I have more peace of mind knowing that I dont have to worry about what is going to fail next and how much it will cost. Obviously it has been a very difficult divorce to get over.

Yeah, you know, I was always a little sad when I parted with my old cars (except the Grand Am). But we do what we have to do....

I would love to come to Carlisle one of these years and meet you and take your Mark to the cleaners with my LS. Seriously, I don't know if the LS can beat a Mark- I do know that this car is quicker than the stock 98 Mark8 that I had for 6 years and I took care of it. It just stopped taking care of me. The LS is not as good looking as the Mark - especially from the rear. My LS has 280 HP and 284 lbs. of torque and is much lighter than the Mark - so be careful. Only kidding! Take care and maybe I'll get out there one of these days. Not too far since I live in Phila.
