I know most of us dont need a mechanic much - but I found a good one and it seems fitting I pass on the recommendation. I rarely find cause to praise a mechanic - but this guy sticks out.
This guy just did some major work for me, actually for my wife's car-a94 escort wagon. She managed to blow the engine, as well as have a bunch of other things that needed attention- I got a 37k used engine installed with a 6 month warranty, new struts & springs on the rear, front brake job, trans fluid change, and a few small item repairs -- all for $2000-Thats cheap even for just the engine. The guy went over the whole car top to bottom looking for problems to fix. The car runs like new - and the wife couldnt be happier.
THis guy used to be a Lincoln Dealer mechanic and from talking with him I can tell he knows our cars inside and out. He does a ton of engine work - and is even building a funny car in his shop from the ground up.
