Wondering who makes a mini starter for a 2001 SVT cobra or 1995 Mark VIII for that mater (both same bolt up). Im running my stock Mark8 starter, but when under car snooping around for my exhaust rattle/ vibration at take off, I noticed that the headers are extremely cloose to the solenoid. Im talkin like 1/4". NOT cool in my book. I'll be ordering a starter blanket from summitt for the time being, but want one of the mini high tourque starters like i had in my Trans Am. Worried about heat soak when i shut it off after getting off highway. Car hasnt been in shakedown ride for long periods yet to see if there is a problem. (waiting on my new 6600 greenchip with a switching cable) i just ordered from Dennis. Just been going short runs to different shops for custom things.

Cool, i just put in my address for a catalog on the mopdular motors. Judging by their website i feel that it will be terribly expensive. I thought i remember seeing them in JEGS or SUMMITT racing at one time? not sure.

They have several models of starters. Please post the prices when you get the catalog.

Will do, im still waiting on my chip and catalog from this post. It will prob be here monday when the truckload of stalled mail comes in from Ivan.
