Mobility Scooters

I'm thinking about getting a mobility scooter - or something I can use to get around easier at things such as WFC, or the zoo or anyplace that requires a lot of walking.

I'd want to keep it on the cheap side to see if it works out for me. I don't think I would use it a lot. I have seen that there are some lightweight ones, but I'd probably have someone with me at anyplace that I would use this thing, so that's not a huge issue.

I don't know what to look for or where to look. Anyone have opinions, suggestions, information or experience with these things?

Lmao, another thread reference....a completely useless one, but it still counts! :D

Sorry Sharon, I couldn't resist the chuckle.

I don't know anything about the scooters.

If Lincoln made one I'm sure there would be a lot of opinions about them.:)

My grandma has one of those $400 ones.....its yellow, I don't know the name, but it cooks! Pretty good deal.....

I've had some experiance with them since my Dad, Mom and a Cousin had different ones. My opinion is, small and light is important if you want to use it inside or in urban areas. Some aren't too easy to operate or maintain.
