Oh my, Moose is going to need a car-shrink. Moose was receiving a compliment today when suddenly the complimenter called him a Mazda!!! OH MY GOD!!! A Mazda!!!

"Wow, that is some beautiful car"
"Thanks"
"Always liked red Mazdas"

aarrrggghhhh... A MAZDA?? I'm still shaking fromt the experience and Moose hasn't run properly all day.

I bet Moose was pissed. I know that my Lelani would have been. I do hope you straightened out the offending non-beleiver. The Mazda 929 of the early to mid-90s did bear a slight resemblance, because of the lines of the fenders and rear panels, but come on...that person is severely deficient in appreciation of automobiles

That was horrible Leo, but it could have been worse. Someone could have called it a Monte Carlo, or even worse, a Peugeot.

I thought that the Mazda 929 was the best looking Japanese sedan of its day, and even 5 years after its introduction, up until the 1997 Infiniti "Q" ~ Not that it could ever compare with an American Mark VIII, mind you ~ few can, but for a Japanese sedan, it was elegant in lines.
Moose has to learn to make allowences for retarded persons.

I like it when they confuse it with the XR-8 Jaguar. From the front, the 93-96 Mark VIII will make you take a second look :).

Don't feel bad.
When Alexander,Ed,Steve and me did the toys for tots,
someone looked at my car and said "Yea,thats the new Ford Taurus".

I doubt there lives a Mark VIII owner who has not been accused of driving a Tbird.

ME: "Yeah its a MARK VIII (very announciated)"
THEM: "Oh, a Marquis, those are nice, i didnt know they were two-doors"
