Sorry to bother all of you but i really need some help before i start on my project.
So i think i pretty much decided that i'm going to get 4 new speakers. And a 4 channel amp.
I don't want to spend too much on the setup (over $700).
I'm still in the planning stage and i had lots and lots of questions that i hope some of you can answer.
How do you gain access to the rear speakers since it seems like the entire panel would have to be removed in order to reach them.
What is the deepest speaker i could use so it still fits into the door??
What kind of amp should i get? This is the big one since i'm not sure there are plenty of 4 channel amps out there but if i have 4 speakers that's 4 channels right?? So what should i do about the additional tweeters?? Should i even bother buying new ones?
Here is a list of amps i'm considering. What brands are preferred?
MTX Thunder895 or the 2 models below that since i don't even know how much power i need. (Want to keep amp under $350)
Kenwood 640-Watt Bridgeable Multichannel MOSFET Amplifier with Tri-Mode Power Model: KAC-8401
Rockford Fosgate Punch 1200W Bridgeable 4-Channel MOSFET Amplifier with Selectable Bass Boost
Model: P4004
Here are the speakers i'm thinking about (want to keep them for under $120 per pair) . (not sure about the 6 1/2 since they would need custom brakets etc)
Rockford - 6-1/2" 2-Way 150W Car Speakers
T162C
Rockford Fosgate HPC2268 6"x8" 2-way Speakers
Rockford 6-1/2" 2-Way 120W Component Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones (Pair)
Model: P162S
(these come with tweeters)
Sony 6-1/2" 3-Way Car Speakers with HOP Woofer Cones (Pair)
Model: XS-V1640H
Pioneer 6" x 8" 3-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cone (pair)
Model: TS-A6870R
Rockford 6" x 8" 3-Way Car Speakers (Pair)
Model: FRC4368
Any help is greatly appreciated.
