Whats biggest size that can fit under wheel wells without rubbing issues for mounting on a set of stock 20 spokes? Im guessing the 3753R's ?

RE: MT Drags size question

The 3752R's are 15" tires and will not fit the stock wheels.

You want the 26x10.50-16 or P255/50R16, number 3793R.

FWIW, I've been meaning to try on a set of 15 inch wheels/tires(MT ET's)from an MN12 on the '93 Mark VIII at the track. But it seems in the heat of battle, the time to do such a swap is invariably less important than another run or two down the track. }(

RE: MT Drags size question

Yeah , i meant the 16's. Haah, im still brainwashed into the 15" rims from my 79 TA. Thanks for the post, was thinking the 255 would rub.
My Bridgestone potenzas are 245/50-16 on all 4's and the rear looked like it could take a bigger width, but was worried about the height when the rear comes slamming down.
Going to be getting a electric activated linelock for them too, so i don't waste the pads on breaks anymore. Any suggestions on Summit or Jegs kits that will fit our cars and not mess with the fuctionality of the ABS system?

I've looked into that as well. ;)

From what I've found, you need 2 line-locks, one for each wheel, to not affect the ABS system. I've seen 'em mounted on MN12s in the fenderwells. I'd be confident of this on the EEC-IV Gen1's but not so sure on the Gen2s.

RE: MT Drags size question

Got them in mail the other day. Super Coupe Performance is very fast in shipping! Just need to break down and get the cobra R's now in 17X9 and new tires so i can use my old snowflakes to mount the MT's onto.
Anyone know of any yards local that has two 16" snowflakes? Id prefer to leave my snowlfakes on car till all my Bridgestone 245 50-16's are worn down to replacement time. I'd put them on the truck, but it has 15" rims. Ohh well, i guess no hand me downs for the truck. lol

If you can't find any local, I have a pair that would be good for track wheels.

RE: MT Drags size question

Got the rims in mail the other day. :) :) I now have an entire black hefty garbage bag full of styrofoam penuts to use in shipping out ebay stuff. I dont know how they got so many in that box, they kept falling out and spilling all over. My girl friends cat was over and flinging them everywhere. lol
They look fine Driller, nothing a little silver spray paint can't hide after sanding on the one rim. The other one doesnt need anything. I'll get em mounted up today. :)
