This is my first lincoln, but i cant find time to work on it.
So i am letting it go to someone that would apreciate it and spend the time it needs.
I found this 1961 lincoln continental 4dr in a guys garage under a tarp and saw the front bumper, asked if he wanted to sell it and he said yes but it had been setting for 5yrs and did not run, after settling on a price i got it towed home, and to my suprise i primed the carb, put a new batery in and it fired right up! and runs good for setting for so long. It dose need the fuel line blown out between the carb and gas tank but other then that i think it will be fine.
has a electric fuel pump and someone has already but stop rust in the trunk.
Car has almost no rust, interior in good shape, no stains or rips in the seats, electric seat still works, one of the windows still works (electric) a/c and heater lines have been capped off, missing radio and trim around it, all chrome is there and in good shape, all glass in good shape but has a crack in the front window, found a set of original NEW hub caps in the trunk and the original owners manual and service book under the front seat!
Was told the miles it shows is true and has not rolled over yet (shows around 50,xxx miles), it needs brakes done, has a clean california title and is non op with dmv.
Body is very straight will take minimal work to make perfect, has been repainted at some point.
This is a real gem.
I have it stored at my parents property and just dont have time to work on it so i must let it go.
only asking $4000 for it or will take $2000 cash and trade for something that is worth $2000-$2500 to make up the difference.
