i cant get anything else to upload, to update you guys, pinstriping is removed. interior is honestly like new, black leather, wood grain dash kit, xm satellite radio(fm/am/cd also), the interior is beautiful. all the leather looks amazing after getting armor all'd. the white lincoln logos on the headrests are super clean, no fading or dirt on it. wish i could upload the pics of the car after i buffed it :(

Check out the "FAQ" section. There you will find info on posting pictures. Photobucket is another way too. Upload them there and post the image link here. Copy and paste works well there. ;)

i've decided on rims !!
from supercoupe performance, 17x9 chrome cobra R rims
tires : continental extreme contact DWS
front 245/45ZR17
rear: 275/40ZR17

can't wait. have to save up like 1,500 :( lol

To use this sites photo uploading, you need to have something like 15 or 21 posts or something like that. I prefer PhotoBucket myself.

It looks like a beautiful car, a little fuzzy but beautiful.:)

Those look like nice 20 spoke wheels too!

I'd be dumb not to agree. That is a nice looking Gen1. Congrats on inheriting a very nice car. Not all kids your age start out with something that nice. Please don't take that as an insult either calling you kid. When I was a kid my first car was a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with 160K miles that in a short amount of time was painted smurf blue. It was pretty dumb. :D

Oh, and for some reason I find those whitewalls looking purty darn nice on that car especially with that wheel. But hey, some Cobra Rs would look even sicker. :p Saving up is always a good idea especially when we're talking about a luxury automobile and not a winter beater. There is a great advantage to being a member of this forum when it comes to parts, vendor discounts, and just all-around knowledge. There are guys on here that know their stuff that make me look stupid. :D Enjoy your stay man! :)

I can see the white Lincoln star from your balcony picture!!! :)

Glad you're excited to get it man, make sure you take care of it because it will take care of you if you do! Be easy on the armor all, that stuff dries out your leather and dash parts. I use windex on the dash stuff because it doesn't attract dust and leather conditioner on my seats.

If you have an iPhone, download the photobucket app. Works great!

yeah i like the look of the white walls, and yes im very lucky to get this car. only around 89,900 miles on it. my dad babied it and took excellent care of it, still does. i buffed it like 3 times, comes out amazing, can see your reflection and its crystal clear. the cars beautiful inside and out. i don't mind being called a kid btw lol. when the time comes he said im allowed to sell the rims and white walls that are on the car, on top of the 2 sets of chrome rims he had on it before. some peeled, but the ones on the car now are really nice, polish them and they look brand new. thanks for the welcome guys and the compliments :)

now that i think about it, i might keep the white walls for awhile, i mean when i use the bleche white spray and they look basically bleached ( they come out so white ) and the chrome rims are really shiny, i might think about going ahead and keeping them. i mean, he did alot of stuff recently, brakes, rotors, airbags a year or two ago, and the vogue tyres on the car last about 80-120k miles, they cost about 1000 for just the tires. i gotta think about it i guess lol, got plenty of time. again thanks for the welcomes and im sure ill be asking for help with alot of stuff in the future. i figured out today how to take the headlights out, (gotta unscrew the panel above them that runs across the whole thing). ill be posting again soon

Your enthusiasm reminds me of how I was when I first joined. It's a welcoming site to see. ;)

Hi, Welcome. Very nice car. I like and have Cobra-R's on mine. I dont care for the White walls myself. Good luck with it.
