My Ls has been in storage for over 5 months, I have a couple of questions.

I am currently in Iraq, I had to put my 2004 Lincoln Ls in storage. First I was wondering what some common problems there might be after a vehicle sits up for a long periode of time. Secondly, before I put my car in storage, my two front chrome rims began to peel, they are the factory chrome wheels. I have been told it is cheaper to have them dipped then to buy new factory chrome rims. Im not sure what i should do, and I have not been able to find what the price is for a set of factory rims. I would appreciate some tips and advice very much.

I would check ebay for a set of rims... I would not go to stealer... they would charge some outlandish amount of money for that ($900 per wheel or the likes).

I'd check the battery and change the oil. But besides that car should be good to go. Tires may have a few flat spots on em though.

I would "prime" the system before you start it. Remove the fuel pump fuse and crank it for atleast 15 seconds, this will get the oil moving through the engine so you don't start it dry. Other than that, you should be good.

Definitely look on eBay, they should be pretty inexpensive.
