I was trying to peer pressure some mustang guys from www.centexstangs.com to come out and run our bracket program with us.

I offered to PAY for their tech card, if they would just show up.. and race.

They rolled out the "excuses", from one end of the spectrum to the other.
It was obvious they weren't going to come and "run with us" because they are "KEY BOARD RACERS".

So... I went to their "official track times list"
and...

I called out the moderator of the board {who was talking the most crap)
And.. one of the other guys from the board
Both have mid 13 second 05-06 mustangs....

One{Dougmm's) accepted the challenge, the other guy is still CRAYFISHING!!!

Who'da thunk it... "the best ford has to offer" backing down from a 12 year old LINCOLN...{shakes head)

LOL :laugh: My favorite pet peeve for excuses is the infamous "I don't want to break anything!"

Yah, I'm going to spend tons of money on mods, brag it up and claim some questionable dyno numbers but NOT take it to the track 'cause "I don't want to break anything." Yeah, right. :(

There is a local board that most of the fast street cars congregate to around here, but through all the trash talk, at least these guys WILL take it to the track and yes occasionally they will break something. Props to 'em. :wave022:
