I took apart my front brakes thinking my pads were shot when I discovered that the caliper sliding pins were fused with the mounting bracket, there is no way to get them off. i even drilled all the way through the pins and they still won't budge. I have called a ton of dealers and junkyards and no one carries it anymore.
the part I need is for the front left side, but I think either side will work (although I'm not 100%) It is a "U" shaped piece of metal that the caliper rests on. On either side of the caliper are the 2 sliding pins. I need this part desparetly soon, so if anyone has one and can overnight it please let me know ASAP, either here, or by email at djbaker1@juno.com. Thanks
