Without having to pay the dealer a million dollars for the code that is obvioulsy somewhere on this car, can someone tell me where to look for the original keyless entry code on an 03 V8 sport? We have located some stickers on the interior under the dash but not sure if it's here. It's a 5 digit code, right? HELP!

Look in the owner manual documentation.
Usually there is a copy of the code in there somewhere.
I know there is in my Mark 8.

The LS does not list it in the car like the marks do, at least not that i have found. the dealer has to hook up a thingamabob to the computer to get the code. costs about $28 depending on local tax rates

They removed the common locations on the newer cars so you usually can't find it easy.

However the code is posted on the keyless entry module (almost 100% sure). The problem is you have to find where it is located, normally behind some trim panel around the B pillar.

The door keycode is held within the software of the DDM (Driver's Door Module) and is unique to each DDM, so the code decal for that module is on it. The DDM is on a bracket inside the driver's door, and the door panel must be removed to get to it.

Nobody ever does that.

MaddShadez gave you the answer: go to a dealership, or any shop with a decent scan tool that can talk to the vehicle's OBDII system, and read the keypad code held in the DDM's non-volatile memory.

We charge $25.oo to do it, but often give the retrieval away for free if the vehicle is in our shop for other work.

That sucks that it is inside the door on the LS. I just had to gently pry my trim away on my b-pillar on my 02 Mountaineer to find my keyless code.

I found it under the back seat once... they put the sticker under the cushion on the metal. Usually it is on the trunk hinge or strut tower.
