Need help on 77 continental

Just acquired car and need some info.Need to change courtesy light
bulb over oval rear window without destroying plastic chrome cover.
Also need to remove clock to repair and radio.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Does anyone know what kind of gas mileage you should get with a 7.5 460? Thanks for anything you can provide

If you haven't figured it out yet, the courtesy light housing just pulls out of the headliner you can then access the bulb. As far as gas mileage goes you should get at least 10 mpg and maybe 15 on the hwy. I know my 78 continental with the fuel saving 400 gets at least 15 mpg. My 72 LTD with the 400 gets about 18 on the HWY.
