New best for my 98 mark VIII LSC -11.7@120 mph

[Burbank 98 LSC]

I've just came back from US41 few hours ago and brought home few nice time slips and hit my best .It's still running 8 psi on Vortech sq-trim with stock heads,cams,intake manifold and exhaust manifolds.12-14 psi of boost and more mods coming in spring of 07.Here is the video and my time slips.

That's impressive and running a stock engine/trans setup. There's some that could only get there after a forged bottem end, full exhaust and Cobra intake.

His car does have a forged bottom end if I recall correctly with flat top pistons.

What did you do to solve the wheel hop issues to get those short times?

I have stock suspension with front swaybar removed and M/T Slicks.
M/T slicks solved my wheel hop.I had wheel hop on Drag radials and my best 60 foot time on Drag Radials was 2.0 and 1.7 with slicks.

My mods are:
Build shortblock with flat tops,4.10 gears,3200 converter,stock trans with J Mod and 2 trans coolers,BBK twin 62mm throttle body,c&l 80mm mass,42 injectors,255 walbro fuel pump,vortech s trim with 3.50 reichard racing pulley,stock exhaust pipes with gutted cats and no mufflers,coilover suspension conversion.

it never ceases to amaze me how boost can greatly alter top end mph and 60-foot times...
for example...we have you beat in our bracket truck by over 2/10ths of a second ET...11.48 to your 11.72, and 2/10ths in the 60-foot time...our 1.561 BEST to your 1.764 yet you have over 3 mph on us....

gears, and vehicle weight play a huge role too, but it isnt obvious in the 60-foots

amazing times, awesome car...and that mph RULES.
