new electrical gremlin

i was just removing my aftermarket radio, and during pulling it out the blue box for the airbags that is to the right of the glove box starts dinging, and my fuel gauge flies up past the full mark and also all the presets go all funky ( Mirrors, ac reads in celcius. etc ) what have i started? also the blue box does 5 sets of 5 dings.

also the message center is blank now and to clarify the fuel gauge is still pointing straight up

This is why you disconnect the neg battery lead B4 you start electrical work...... Sorry!

any modules that control the fuel gauge?

found the problem it was a wire going to the M/C shorting to ground which in turn blew fuses 15 and 16.
