New guy, about to get a '97 LSC

Hello all,

My name is Tim and the wife and I are about to add a new member to our "fleet"

We're completing the paperwork on a 1 owner, 20K original mile Toreador Red LSC. We've looked for nearly 5 yrs to find the "right" one with many getting lost at the last minute. Looks like it's finally going to happen.

I've lurked for as many years around this forum hoping to one day become an owner, I must say these cars have quite the knowledgable following.

I'll post an update along the way.

20k miles? That's not even broke in.

I've got over 9 times that on 1 car.:D
 
Nice. I bought a 16k original mile '98 Mark VIII about 8 months ago and we have been loving it ever since!. Ours has 21k miles on it now but it really feels like a new car driving down the road. I had a '95 w/63k miles but it didn't have that new car feel this low mile '98 has. Good luck with yours!:cool:

Looks like the deal went down. We're really excited about the car. My wife's father worked at the Wixom plant for many years including when the Mark VIIIs were built, so our car thing (we now own 7) runs in the family.

The only problem is we're in Alabama and the car is in Arizona. Gotta look everywhere if you want one with one owner & low miles nowadays.

We're planning to fly in and drive home for New Years. It's our sorta early/late X-mas present to ourselves...
