Just bought a base 1998 mk viii with 95k miles. Has some upgrades... JBL, etc.
I've previously owned a 1988 Lincoln TC Sig with the 5.0 (my car in HS), a 1990 Lincoln TC Cartier with the 5.0, and a non ford SUV. I'm fairly familiar with the mk 8 viii as I've always wanted to get one... a little bummed I couldn't find an LSC for a reasonable price, but I figure I'll change the gearing at some point and will do a true dual exhaust anyway.
I did have one question on the paperwork, though. I saw on the factory sticker that it says 100,000 mile tune-up int. I'm guessing this is a 100,000 mile interval, right? Or is it saying that Lincoln covered tuneups and maintenance through the 100,000 mile point? Because, if so, I'm pulling up to a dealership to have them do it in a few weeks. :wave:
