New Personal Best

Went to Milan tonight, got five runs in. First three I couldn't get out of the 15's. So I let it sit for awhile and let the car and weather cool down.

My previous personal best was a 14.7001 @ 91.83.

First run after the break I ran a 14.6871 @ 94.16 WOOT.

Then got back in line. Lined up against my buddy in a '93 Mark VIII.

Thats right, we finished neck and neck. Unfortunately the camera being used to take videos had the batteries die 2 runs before ours.

So I'm really happy, got a new personal best, then beat that number, and ran an extremely close race with another Mark VIII.

Our two cars plus my buddy's 99 Cobra.

Yea, same here, it was nuts, I'll have to get a pic of the slip when i get batteries. I just wish there was a video...

Congrats on the new best... what did the 99 Cobra run?

I think he was running 13.8s-13.9s, early in the day it was hard to get a good run in. He left early. I think his best is a 13.7xx. Its got exhaust, and mail order tune, but this was first time out with the tune.

Congrats and that sounds like it was a lot of fun! I had a close race once, it was a blast and was because I stalled the car at the light, it was like brackets I guess.
