Looks good but I'm with Leo....rims are nice but they take away from the nestalgic look. :)

thanks for replies guys. i have been going back and forth on the wheels. i think i might try a set of 22" smoothies and see what they look like.

Same here - gorgeous car, but IMO the rims detract, and for me, a car like that should be the centerpiece.

Yeah... Maybe it has to do with the chrome vs. a not really shiny red? Or the lines? I don't think he needs to stick to boring wheels, and I don't think it looks bad, I just think something a little less flashy or a little sleeker maybe would really suit my tastes. Of course, not everyone in the world needs to stick to my tastes when it comes to cars. :)

I think maybe those style wheels look good on these cars when they're dropped real low and tucking a lot of wheel.

If your current rims didn't have the "tribal" look to the blades and was more a basic 5 spoke they would fit the bill. I'm all for 20's on old cars, heck today I was at a car show and there was an old 57 chevy with 26's on it, bagged and dropped, it looked awesome!

thanks for the input guys, keep them coming all comments are welcome. i found an old set of torq thrust D wheels i had from my torino ill have to mount up some tires and shoot some pics.
