Hello all. Newbie here...just wanted to introduce myself and get a little more familiar around here. My name is J and I recently picked up my very first Lincoln....a 1997 Mark VIII LSC. Beautiful car that has 170K on the clock. the ONLY thing I do NOT like about it is the OctaStar wheels! I'd much rather have the directionals. But, anywho, I am a DIYer who is not afraid to wrench. I plan to give her a full tune up & fluid change. She's already been converted to springs and I think I'm going to go ahead and tackle the dreaded blend door fix next week. It's a SC car, that being said, one of the cats have been removed. Other than that, this things growls like a lion. Gonna take her on a 5 hour road trip in the AM, so hopefully the gas mileage isn't bad.
Anyway, I hope to gain a LOT more information around here from you knowledgeable folks and hopefully make one of the meets...
