New Stallion at the Ranch

Nice. Good that you still have a track. NJ now lost two of its major drag strips. E-Town sold out a few years ago to a car auction place. And last month ATCO abruptly closed down, sold out as well from what people gathered. Still one smaller 1/4 mile track left in NJ, Island Dragway, for the whole tri-state area.

Nice! I meant to ask you at the homecoming what is the fuel mileage on the x way with that stock rear?
Awww... with all the drama, I completely forgot to check the fuel mileage. This trip would've been a good opportunity. :(

I just checked the message center and it displays 16.4 mpg since the last reset before the Lincoln Homecoming. That includes the driving in Michigan and a couple local errand runs, driving 2 hours each way through the mountains back and forth to the track (at 85+ mph) and of course several trips down the track. I guess you could call that City/Highway/Track mileage.

I guess I need to put a sticky note in the car to remind me to record the mileage and gallons pumped when I fuel up to cross check the displayed fuel mileage.

Yeah, I heard about ATCO. That's a shame. I always wanted to make a trip there for some kind of event.

There's really only 2 tracks reasonably near me, both 2+ hours away. They just recently opened one in southern WV, but it's probably over a 3 hours trip for me.

Yes, I wouldn't expect much around town, you should reset the mileage as soon as you get on the x way for a good max average of the x way mileage.
